B Is For Boy | Austin Newborn Photographer | Dawn Fry Photo

Newborn Photo Sessions are some of my most favorite sessions to do! I do a little happy dance in my office chair every time I book one (yes, it looks as ridiculous as it sounds!). But, I just love them. My boys are getting bigger every day, and at 4 years old and 8 years old, I don’t get to snuggle them as much as I used to. I often miss that newborn baby magic that is only present when they are tiny, and so I am incredibly grateful when I get to capture someone’s bundle of goodness in those first days of life. I get my fill of yummy baby sounds and smells and my clients get gorgeous images – it’s a total win-win. 🙂

This spring, I had the pleasure of photographing my beautiful client just before the arrival of her 3rd BOY!! We did a maternity session with her family in April, and then almost exactly a month later, I joined them in their home for a newborn session for baby B. What an amazing family they are! I had so much fun getting to know them.

Baby B was an absolute dream. His gorgeous face and to-die-for squishiness was almost too much for me to take. He was so pleasant and beautiful that the session went incredibly smooth. I have to give a little shout out to my awesome assistant, Kim, for helping me out. Shoots always go better with Kim around.  This image of baby B below on the black was printed on an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING 24×36 canvas. I had such a hard time delivering that to my client – I wanted to keep it for my walls!!He looked amazing on every color blanket we tried. His skin coloring was perfect.
Such sweetness is a blessing, and the H family certainly blessed me with their sessions. I had so much fun, and can’t wait to shoot my next newborn session in the next few weeks.

Thanks for looking!
