I am always delighted and excited when I get to do newborn photo sessions! This one was even more special to me because one of my sweet friends purchased the session for her sister, as a baby shower gift. What a great idea!!! Her sister loved it and it was such a wonderful gift to her and the family. 
Baby Brodie was the sweetest little guy. At only 8 days old, he was soft and dreamy and perfectly content to sleep peacefully on my blankets.
When I put him in this little blue hat and cocoon, I told him his Aunt Julia made his outfit, and this was his response.
Haha! He understood me, right? No, not really. I think he was working on something fancy. 😉 And once he blessed my blankets a couple of times, he decided it was time to wake up. So, we decided to do a few belly shots, and little man had to show us his amazing neck strength! Seriously folks, he did this all on his own. This next image makes me smile.
He made for an adorable teddy bear too. What a cutie!
Mom had a special outfit and teddy bear she wanted photographed as well, so we dressed him up and he promptly fell back to sleep all snuggled into his giant teddy bear.
