Catching Up | Austin Senior Photographer

Happy Sunday my lovies! It has been so long since I updated this blog – I am so sorry about that. The fact is, I have been incredibly busy!! I love having that “problem”. 🙂 I have been shooting more in the past few months than ever before, and I am loving every minute of it.

In teaming up with Allen Doberenz from Doberenz Photography, my schedule has become amazingly full.  I’ve been shooting weddings right and left – with Allen, on my own and with my beautiful and talented friend, Jen Barnes.

My main focus though this spring is Senior Portraits and wow, what a fun place to focus! I love shooting senior sessions; they are always so fun and exciting and inspiring. I really enjoy getting to know all these great young adults with big hopes and dreams and the motivation to do great things. Seniors are so amazing!

In February I had a booth at the Cedar Park High School Graduation/Prom Extravaganza.

It was really fun to see all the high schoolers and their families at the show. The fashion shows were really fun. I really enjoyed it all. At the show, I held a drawing for some prizes and also for a free senior portrait session. Miss Audrey was the winner of the free session. We met out on 5th St. in downtown Austin a few weeks later and had a great time!

Audrey did a great job! To see more of her images, check out her post on my Senior site. 🙂

The next weekend I did another amazing senior photo session with the beautiful and lovely, Rachel.

Rachel is from the small town of Shiner, TX and she really wanted images that reflected that small town style.  We shot her session in two fabulous locations and produced some amazing senior portraits for her. To see more from Rachel’s session, check out her post on my Senior site as well!

I hope you are all enjoying the spring and the roller coaster temps we’ve been experiencing! I am trying to enjoy what I can, because by the time it all evens out it will be too hot to enjoy it! I am almost completely booked for April and May, so if you are thinking about having a session this spring, you might want to contact me soon.

Thanks for looking!
