I was so overjoyed a couple of months ago when I was contacted about shooting a wedding for a beautiful couple who were getting married in Wimberley. I am so thankful they allowed me to participate in their day! I am still working on the bazillion images that I have to edit; between myself and my assistant, Jen Barnes, we have more shots than I thought possible! So, here is a bit more of a sneak peek for the beautiful couple.
Here is the dashing groom, Matt. He was sweet enough to let me get some shots of him alone before the ceremony. The light in the little entry to the sanctuary was just perfect.
After the ceremony – you can just see how much they love each other!
Oh the kissing! So sweet!
At the reception – the light was so perfect! This was just before sunset.
The reception location had a little house on site that had a tight, tight spiral stairway up to the second floor. My beautiful bride, Santa, grabbed me and asked if I could take a few images of her on the stairs. I am so glad she did. 🙂
The same shot, with a little added texture for interest.
Ok, and now for something completely different. I brought our infrared camera along with me that day in the hopes of being able to capture some unique images. It did not disappoint! Here are a couple of different plays on the same image. I love this shot and am still playing with different processing for it. Here is a very sepia toned result.
And this, a more traditional infrared with the deep blue sky that I just love!*sigh*
Weddings – they just really do it for me! I enjoy them so much! Santa and Matt, thank you so much for the privilege!
More sneak peeks to come!
Thanks for looking,
