Tuesday also brought me Momma Ru – who was in need of some head shots for advertising she will be doing for her new real estate business. (her grandkids call her Momma Ru – I think it’s so cute!) This was another shoot that had to be delayed because I got sick, but thankfully she was able to work me into her busy schedule to take a few shots.
We decided to meet at my house, but the lighting wasn’t the greatest, so we set up in my driveway. It must have been an interesting sight to the neighbors to have a backdrop stand and photography subject sitting in my driveway! But, as you all should know – the sun is our greatest light source, and I am always much happier with natural light photos.
I love it when people tell me right off that they don’t take good photos. Momma Ru told me just that, but I would have to disagree with her. I hope she sees the beauty I saw when I looked through the lens. Look at that smile!
