The first shoot was so much fun, and the mom was so pleased with her pictures. It was a great way to start out. Only a couple of days after I had her proofs on line, her mother called me to see if I could do a shoot for her granddaughter, the original mom’s niece. Does that make sense? Anyway, they just happened to be in the area that day, so I dropped my son off at a friend’s house and high-tailed it over there to do a shoot. They wanted the same, indoor, natural light photos, and since I had just been in the house a week ago, the set up was pretty easy.
This time though, was a little different. The little girl was just barely 10 months old, and was not walking yet. She could crawl though, and with the grandparents and her cousin and aunt and dad all in and out of the room, keeping her in one spot was next to impossible. I could tell her dad was getting frustrated with trying to corral her and keep the distractions to a minimum. I was having a really hard time getting anything in focus – she was so quick!
Still, she is a beautiful little girl and I certainly got a few portfolio-worthy shots out of the deal. Her family was pleased as well.
